Over 50 Years
in the Courtroom
Our firm was built on the experience and leadership of senior shareholders Dick Sayles and Mark Werbner – with over 50 years in the courtroom and more than 200 cases.
Sayles and Werbner have practiced law together for over three decades and were both recently selected by Best Lawyers as 2018 Lawyer of the Year, Sayles for his practice involving bet-the-company litigation and Werbner for white-collar criminal defense. Beginning their practice in the late ’70s with the prestigious Dallas law firm Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, they decided to form what became Sayles Werbner in 1994 – a firm with a vision to handle the type of large, complex cases traditionally handled by the megafirms but in a smaller-firm environment.
