Intellectual Property Litigation Business Litigation Products Liability Personal Injury/Wrongful Death Practice Description and Representative Cases: For more than 15 years, Eve Henson has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil matters ranging from complex multidistrict litigation to straightforward contract disputes. Eve is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in both Texas and Florida. Her extensive commercial litigation track record includes matters involving antitrust allegations, aviation incidents, environmental claims, insurance coverage for lead paint liability, and patent infringement and invalidity claims covering a wide-range of products and processes. She also regularly represents clients in employment, product liability, personal injury and wrongful death actions. Her clients include individuals and families as well as Fortune 500 corporations. Eve’s dogged perseverance in the discovery process and thorough examination of the facts in every matter she handles, give her clients a distinct advantage. Her litigation skills and track record were recognized in Texas Monthly magazine when Eve was named to the “Texas Rising Stars” list in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008, and when she was named to the “Texas Super Lawyers” list based on her work in intellectual property litigation in both 2008 and 2009. She has also been rated as an AV lawyer in Martindale-Hubbell. An AV rating is a significant accomplishment indicating that her peers rank Eve at the highest level of professional excellence. Eve earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Environmental Science from Cornell University. She then earned her law degree at Southern Methodist University School of Law where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Survey Edition of the SMU Law Review.
