Jack Ormond started his law practice with Baker Botts in 2002. He joined Sayles Werbner in 2005. Jack has worked on a variety of commercial, professional malpractice, products liability and toxic tort cases.
Recently, Jack has worked with other Sayles Werbner lawyers in:
- Prosecuting business tort claims for major oil companies
- Defending the City of Dallas in suits by firefighters and police officers claiming back pay in excess of a billion dollars
- Securing a zero-dollar settlement for a snack food company in a business tort case
- Defending Deere & Company against claims of product defect
- Representing plaintiffs with traumatic, life-changing personal injuries caused by negligence and/or product defect
- Representing a private equity consultant in a contract suit to recover his fees
Jack earned his law degree from the University of Michigan. After graduating cum laude from Wake Forest University with special honors in economics, he earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Dallas.
