Mark D. Strachan is a native of East Texas, having practiced in and near Marshall, Texas for 25 years before moving to Dallas.He is certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and commercial cases. He has tried cases to jury verdict in most state district courts in Northeast Texas, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District. Through his practice, Mark has represented both individuals and companies in cases that arise from a wide variety of environments including farming, oil and gas production, power generation, transportation, medical care, banking, construction, franchises, partnerships, insurance, machine shops and veterinary care.

- A defense verdict on behalf of a car dealership in a negligent entrustment case
- A multimillion settlement on behalf of a severely burned client in a products liability case

- A defense verdict on behalf of an apartment owner in a malicious prosecution case in federal court

- A defense verdict on behalf of an insurance company in a bad faith case
Mark is also a certified mediator and was an adjunct faculty member at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas for a number of years.Mark graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law after earning a B.B.A. degree with honors from the University of Texas. He is married to Karla Strachan.
