Shawn also has defended legal malpractice claims and white collar criminal matters. Her legal background also includes work in international mass tort claims and national class actions. Her trial expertise covers all aspects of litigation, including investigation, discovery, preparing and arguing pretrial motions, and taking witness testimony. Shawn earned her law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she served as an editor for The International Lawyer and The Law and Business Review of the Americas.
