Five Sayles Werbner Attorneys Earn Spots on 2013 Texas Rising Stars List

DALLAS – The Texas litigation firm Sayles Werbner is proud to announce that five firm attorneys have earned selection to the 2013 edition of Texas Rising Stars, the annual listing of the top young lawyers in the state.

Honored for their work in litigation, firm attorneys Joel Israel, Shawn Long, Sawyer Neely, Darren Nicholson and Rob Sayles all were named to the exclusive listing, which includes less than 2.5 percent of eligible Texas lawyers and appears in the April issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.

“We have always prided ourselves on the quality and capabilities of our young lawyers at Sayles Werbner,” says firm co-founder Richard “Dick” Sayles. “It’s nice to come to the office, knowing that you’ll be able to work alongside this talented group of attorneys.”

Mr. Israel, who is licensed to practice in Texas and California, maintains an extensive track record in state and federal courts across the U.S. He focuses his business litigation practice on cases involving mass torts, products liability defense, commercial real estate disputes, fiduciary and contractual breaches, employment discrimination and harassment, and securities claims.

Ms. Long also maintains a business litigation practice, regularly representing clients as plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Her focus includes cases involving complex commercial disputes, attorney malpractice defense, products liability, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, securities fraud, and intellectual property disputes.

Mr. Neely represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts in a variety of business litigation matters, including cases involving the RICO Act, securities and partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, minority shareholder oppression, Federal Fair Housing Act, deceptive trade practices claims, and construction and construction-delay disputes.

Mr. Nicholson, an experienced litigator and trial lawyer, represents clients in state and federal courtrooms across the country. His track record spans multimillion-dollar recoveries to favorable take-nothing judgments on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving intellectual property disputes, white-collar criminal allegations, products liability claims, and complex commercial litigation.

Like the other honored attorneys, Rob Sayles maintains a diverse litigation practice, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes, personal injury and wrongful death claims, and product liability cases.

Sayles Werbner maintains an international reputation as a proven trial law firm in complex business litigation, intellectual property matters, life-altering personal injury cases, product safety claims and practically every type of case that requires courtroom expertise.
