Voice of America Interviews Mark Werbner about Malaysia Airlines Lawsuits

The international radio news organization Voice of America recently interviewed trial attorney Mark Werbner of Dallas’ Sayles Werbner about the potential for lawsuits tied to the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

In the interview broadcast to Voice of America stations in the U.S. and Southeast Asia, Werbner discussed the various procedural and legal hurdles that family members of missing Flight 370 passengers must overcome if they decide to turn to the courts.

“Aviation litigation is complicated enough, but when you add here the international component and the inability to locate the aircraft, it will make litigation very difficult,” Werbner told listeners of Voice of America’s popular “Now!” program. Despite the difficulties for potential Malaysia Airlines plaintiffs, Werbner told Voice of America that several related parties potentially could face legal claims, including Malaysia Airlines; Boeing, which manufactured the missing plane; security officials; and others.

Sayles Werbner has an international reputation as a “go to” trial law firm in multifaceted business litigation, intellectual property, patent litigation, life-altering personal injury cases, product safety lawsuits and other areas of the law.
