Four from Dallas' Sayles Werbner Named to 2014 Texas Super Lawyers List

DALLAS – Four attorneys from Dallas’ Sayles Werbner have earned spots on the 2014 Texas Super Lawyers list of the state’s top attorneys, including firm co-founder Richard A. “Dick” Sayles, who was named one of the Top 10 lawyers in Texas for the fifth straight year.

Sayles is joined by co-founder Mark S. Werbner, a four-time Super Lawyers Top 10 honoree who has been recognized each year since the annual list debuted in 2003. Both Sayles and Werbner also are named among the Top 100 attorneys in Texas and Top 100 in Dallas/Fort Worth. They both previously were recognized as Texas Trial Legends by the Dallas Bar Association. Sayles obtained the third-highest number of Super Lawyer votes in Texas this year.

Mark D. Strachan and William S. Snyder earned their fourth and eighth selections, respectively. Sayles, Werbner and Snyder are recognized for their work in business litigation, and Strachan for intellectual property litigation.

Like Werbner, Sayles has been included on every Super Lawyers list. A proven courtroom veteran, Sayles has tried more than 150 civil jury trials. In addition to his recognition in Super Lawyers, his many professional honors include multiple consecutive listings in The Best Lawyers in America and recognition as the Texas Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Texas chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (TEXABOTA).

Werbner’s courtroom work includes record-setting verdicts and settlements in Texas and across the U.S. Also previously recognized as the Texas Trial Lawyer of the year by TEXABOTA, Werbner handles a broad spectrum of legal matters for both individuals and corporations. He currently represents hundreds of U.S. victims of international terrorism in a New York federal lawsuit against Arab Bank over its alleged role in terror financing.

Strachan, also a member of ABOTA, regularly represents clients in intellectual property law matters before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, as well as other federal jurisdictions. Snyder primarily represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex business and securities disputes, including partnership, legal malpractice, and oil and gas disputes, whether they are arbitrated or litigated in the state courts, federal district courts, or federal bankruptcy courts.

Sayles Werbner has an international reputation as a “go to” trial law firm in multifaceted business litigation, intellectual property, patent litigation, life-altering personal injury cases, product safety lawsuits and other areas of the law.
