The annual guide to the city’s top attorneys is based on nominations submitted by lawyers from throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area, in addition to an editorial review conducted by D Magazine’s editors and a handpicked panel of local legal leaders.

Sayles earned a spot on the exclusive listing based on his work in business litigation and serious personal injury claims. He has been selected as one of the city’s top lawyers for five years in a row, and seven times overall. Werbner also earned his fifth consecutive selection and seventh overall for his representation of clients in business litigation and white-collar defense cases.

Sayles, Werbner and fellow firm attorneys have compiled an impressive track record of substantial verdicts and take-nothing defense wins for clients for decades. The firm recently won a U.S. Supreme Court ruling for client Commil USA LLC against software giant Cisco Systems Inc. in one of the most significant patent infringement claims to reach the nation’s highest court in years.
