Sayles Werbner Attorneys in Dallas Named to 2016 Texas Rising Stars List

DALLAS – Attorneys Robert L. Sayles and Sawyer Neely of Dallas’ Sayles Werbner have earned selection to the 2016 Texas Rising Stars list of the state’s top young lawyers for their litigation expertise.

Last year, Mr. Sayles and Mr. Neely successfully defended a Texas-based manufacturer in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit alleging violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. A state district court jury in Gainesville, Texas, issued a take-nothing verdict in favor of the firm’s client despite the plaintiff’s pretrial demands for as much as $8 million in damages.

A shareholder at Sayles Werbner, Mr. Sayles has been named to the Rising Stars list five times based on his work in the courtroom. He represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including business and commercial disputes, product liability matters, and personal injury and wrongful death claims. His legal track record also includes work in breach of contract disputes, fraud claims, product defect cases, and insurance defense matters.

The annual listing of the best young attorneys in Texas recognizes lawyers who are 40 years old or younger, and those who have been in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys are selected based on a rigorous vetting process that includes peer evaluations and independent research by Thomson Reuters, the publisher of Super Lawyers magazine where the Texas Rising Stars list appears each year.

Sayles Werbner maintains an international reputation as a proven trial law firm in complex business litigation, intellectual property matters, life-altering personal injury cases, product safety claims and practically every type of case that requires courtroom expertise.
