Founders of Dallas' Sayles Werbner Named Among Top Attorneys in the Nation
DALLAS – Dallas trial lawyers Richard “Dick” Sayles and Mark Werbner once again are being honored in the pages of The Best Lawyers in America based on their decades of successful work in and out of the courtroom.
Clients and referring lawyers alike recognize the founders of Dallas’ Sayles Werbner as two of the top trial lawyers in the nation. Both are widely known for their ability to persuade judges and juries in high-stakes trials heard in Texas and courtrooms throughout the U.S.
Working with the firm’s deep bench of seasoned trial lawyers, Sayles and Werbner recently helped a group of international terrorism victims win $1.3 million in attorneys’ fees as part of the ongoing New York federal lawsuit against Arab Bank over alleged worldwide terrorism funding. Earlier this year, the firm won a hard-fought jury verdict in Fort Worth district court on behalf of victims of a 2010 Colorado bus crash.
Now in its 20th year, The Best Lawyers in America is one of the most respected guides to the legal profession. Sayles is recognized in the most-recent edition based on his work in bet-the-company litigation and commercial litigation. Werbner also is honored for his work in the same two areas, in addition to his representation of corporations and executives in white-collar criminal defense matters. Both attorneys have earned multiple Best Lawyers listings.
“It is always an honor to be singled out by Best Lawyers and the other professional groups that rate attorneys,” says Sayles. “But anyone who knows Sayles Werbner will tell you that professional recognition takes a back seat to our efforts for clients and delivering the best representation possible in every case we handle.”
Both Sayles and Werbner have been named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Texas chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (TEX-ABOTA), and both were honored earlier this year as “Leaders in Their Field” by Chambers USA.
Sayles Werbner has an international reputation as a “go-to” trial law firm in multifaceted business litigation, patent litigation, life-altering personal injury cases, and other areas of the law.
